Now in his second season as the Oilers Skating and Skills Coach, Steve Serdachny brings an extensive background of skating and power skating to the Edmonton organization. The creator of “The Steve Serdachny Power Skating and Skill Development SystemTM”, Serdachny has worked at improving the skating and hockey skill sets of players at all levels. Prior to his current position, he worked at several Oilers training camps and rookie development camps.

Through his Elite Power Skating & Hockey Schools, the Edmonton native has worked with players throughout North America and Europe. Besides his work with the Oilers, he has worked with individual NHL players during the off-season as well as with Farjestads BK of the Swedish Elitserien and SAIPA of the Finnish SM-Liiga.

Serdachny can also be seen on the NHL Network as the Hockey & Skating expert from Hockey Canada’s television show “Hockey Academy”.
