BRIAN ROSS
Video Coach

Brian Ross is in his 12th season as the Oilers Video Coach and in his 21st season with the Edmonton Oilers after joining the team in 1987-88. The 44-year-old native of Edmonton works closely with the coaching staff, overseeing the preparation and breakdown of game footage of both the Oilers and opposition.

Ross also substitutes as the team’s practice goaltender during the season. During the 2003-04 season he skated in the pre-game warm-up for a game versus the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center and on December 31, 2004 Brian was the backup goaltender for the Edmonton Road Runners during an American Hockey League game.

A member of the Oilers Stanley Cup championship teams in 1988 and 1990, Ross joined the Oilers in 1987, opening the Oilers Champions stores and moved into hockey operations after nine seasons. Brian spends his off-seasons in Edmonton.
