New! July 21 – 25, 2008 The Edmonton Oilers Hockey School, in conjunction with the Okanagan Hockey School, is proud to announce the launch of new and exciting program for the summer of 2008. The Learn To Play program is tailored specifically for 5-7 year old boys and girls, and features 1½ hours of ice time daily from Monday to Friday. Additionally, there will be 1 hour of off-ice dry land activities. Lunch programs will also be available. The on-ice portion will consist of an introduction to the basic skills and concepts of hockey, packaged in a fun and exciting environment. Skating, shooting, passing, and team play will all be covered by our expert instructors. The off-ice portion will revolve around activities that are fun, but also skill orientated. The Learn To Play program is the perfect opportunity to give kids the basic skills they need to begin their minor hockey careers. |
