ST. LOUIS, MO - Aside from Jordan Eberle (out 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury), the Oilers head into the regular season opener healthy and ready to go. Benoit Pouliot, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Teddy Purcell will skate together on a line. Taylor Hall will skate on the left wing with a pair of players making their NHL debuts in Anton Slepyshev and Connor McDavid.

Defenceman and former captain Andrew Ference, as well as forwards Taylor Hall, Jordan Eberle and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, will wear the ‘A’ on their jerseys.

The Edmonton Oilers announced today, they have named Andrew Ference, Jordan Eberle, Taylor Hall and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins as alternate captains for the 2015-16 season.
Ference, 36, has served as the Oilers Captain for the past two seasons and he is entering his 16th NHL season and third with the Oilers. The Sherwood Park, Alberta native has appeared in 901 career NHL games, registering 225 points

The Edmonton Oilers announced today they have assigned centre Leon Draisaitl to the American Hockey League’s Bakersfield Condors.
The Oilers have finalized their 23-man roster for the start of the 2015-16 NHL season, which includes two goaltenders, eight defencemen and 13 forwards. Both Jordan Eberle and Dillon Simpson are currently injured and not on the Oilers active roster.
