Scored 13-18-31 with 28 PIM in 47 games for HC Moeller Pardubice of the Czech Republic Extraleague...named playoff MVP as he helped Pardubice win the Extraleague championship by scoring a playoff leading 4-10-14 in 16 games.

2002-03:
Named Top First Year Oiler in Oilers/NHL debut season...scored 6-24-30 with 14 PIM & was +5 in 59 games...9th on Oilers scoring list & 6th in assists...finished among NHL rookie leaders in several categories...was 7th in points, 2nd in assists, 3rd in PPA (9), 8th in PP points (0-9-9) & 15th in plus/minus... his 30 points ranked 11th on the Oilers single-season scoring list for rookies while his 24 assists ranked 4th all-time...named to 2003 Western Conference roster for NHL YoungStars Game at FLA on Feb. 1, but did not play due to injury....named NHL Rookie of the Month for March...registered points in 13 of the month’s 16 games as he helped the Oilers post a 10-2-3-1 record...scored a point-per-game with 3-13-16 & was +9...made his Oilers/NHL debut in season opener vs PHI (Oct. 10)...scored 1st Oilers/NHL goal vs MTL (Jan. 4)...put together a career-high seven-game scoring streak (1-7-8; Mar. 1-13)...the streak was the longest rookie scoring streak in the NHL & the longest by an Oiler.

Spent two seasons with the Hull Olympiques of the QMJHL, scoring 63-134-197 in 121 games from 2000-01 to 2001-02...named to QMJHL 2nd All-Star Team in 2001-02...won the Mike Bossy Trophy as the QMJHL’s top pro prospect in 2000-01..finished among QMJHL’s to 20 scorers each season...was 17th in QMJHL scoring race with 36-64-100 in 2000-01 & was 19th in 2001-02 with 27-70-97.
INTERNATIONAL:
Member of Czech Republic national team at 2006 Winter Olympics...scored 1-2-3 with 2 PIM in 8 games to help win bronze medal...member of Czech Republic’s gold medal winning team at 2005 IIHF World Championship, scoring 2-0-2 in 7 GP...skated at 2002 IIHF World Jr. Championship.
