Acquired: Obtained by Edmonton from NY Islanders, along with Brad Isbister, on March 11, 2003 in exchange for Janne Niinimaa and a conditional draft pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

PLAYOFFS: Picked up an assist in Game 6 @ LAK on 4/28…Potted a goal, was +2, and was named 3rd star in Game 2 vs. LAK on 4/20…Scored the game-winning goal, led the Sharks with seven hits, and was named 2nd star in Game 1 vs. LAK on 4/17…Has appeared in two Stanley Cup Finals and is making his seventh career postseason experience.
