Favourite type of workout: I love working out, mainly lifting weights, but I also love changing things up for variety.

Why do you love the game of hockey: I love the fast pace of the game, as well as the crazy fans!

Something unique about you: I'm a bodybuilder! Haha... I compete in fitness competitions as a bikini competitor and am currently nationally qualified.

Dream date: Been there, done that! I married him! ;o)

Words to live by: Never give up

Describe your personal style: I would have to say I'm a bit of a potpourri. My style changes based on my mood. Some days I'm sporty, some days chic & trendy, and sometimes my husband will call it over-the-top Miami style! I always prefer to be over-dressed than under-dressed!

Why did you want to be part of the Octane: Dance has always been a part of me and one of my dreams was to be a pro-team dancer. Octane not only fulfills that dream but it has given me the opportunity to meet so many beautiful ladies with a common passion!

Who inspires you: My mom

What is your performance background: I have danced since I can remember! From yearly recitals as a young girl, to dance competitions throughout high school and college, as well as college basketball and football performances as part of my college team. I also had the opportunity to be a back-up dancer for Don Omar at Premios Lo Nuestro (Latin music awards) in Miami and various other artists in Miami.

Favourite quote: I have so many but recently came across this one that really stuck with me: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” - Winston Churchill

If you were on a hockey team, what position would you be: Let's be honest here, probably the water girl! Haha

Best part of being a member of the Octane: Being able to do what I love with some pretty amazing team members and coaches!
