Expectations were tremendously high for centre Ryan Nugent-Hopkins heading into his rookie season in the NHL last year. Selected first overall by the Oilers at the 2011 NHL Draft, RNH had a lot to prove as he suited up for the blue and orange. He went on to post one of the top rookie campaigns in franchise history with 52 points in 62 games, including 34 assists. Night after night, the Calder nominee showed off his remarkable vision and play-making abilities and is poised to become one of the league's elite passers.
