During the 12 seasons Mark Messier donned the Oilers logo, he accomplished many notable achievements. His highest-scoring season was in 1981-82 when he netted 50 goals. In the seasons that followed, he continued be a strong offensive force with 48 goals in 1982-83, 45 goals in 1989-90, and 37 goals in each of the 1983-84, 1986-87 and 1987-88 seasons.
