#3 - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
After playing an illustrious junior career for the Red Deer Rebels, Steve Tambellini called Ryan Nugent-Hopkins’ name first overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. After making the Oilers squad in the 2011-12 season, Nugent-Hopkins went on to collect 52 points in 62 games during his rookie NHL season. RNH, who’s affectionately called Nuge by his many devotees, was also a Calder Trophy Finalist for rookie of the year.
