#2 - Longest Undefeated Streak
The Oilers' 1984-85 season began and ended with great things. The Oilers started their season on October 11, 1984 and set the NHL’s longest undefeated record from the start of the season of 15 games (12 wins and 3 ties). The streak eventually ended after their game on November 9, 1984; but in the end the Oilers would prevail and win the Stanley Cup for the second consecutive season.
