Margeaux is proud to be returning to the 2012 Oilers Octane season as the Assistant Coach and Choreographer. After spending four years cheering on the Edmonton Eskimos Cheer Team, and spending two years as a member of the cheer team’s management staff, Margeaux assisted with the inaugural Octane season in 2010. She will be helping at rehearsals to perfect the Octane’s routines and assisting with other behind-the-scenes activities.
Margeaux has been involved in the Edmonton Dance community for over 20 years. Her passion for dance has taken her to Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Houston and Vancouver to train with some of North America's top choreographers. During the 2008 CFL season, Margeaux won a scholarship to the Broadway Dance Centre in New York City at the annual ProDance Convention in Dallas, TX which features some of the top professional dance teams in North America. In 2009, Margeaux worked as a contributing choreographer for the Eskimos Cheer Team, and choreographed the "60 Years of Cheers" Eskimos Cheer Team Alumni Half Time Show. She also accepted a contract dancing at the Whistler Medals Plaza during the entire length of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. In 2010, Margeaux was a member of the Edmonton Grey Cup Festival Committee. Margeaux co-produced and co-hosted "This is Our League: An Introduction to the Grey Cup and the CFL" which is an in-school program for all grade four to six classes in Alberta. In addition to this, Head Coach Mailie, and Margeaux also coordinated a massive flash mob for the 2010 Grey Cup Kick Off Party. Currently Margeaux keeps herself busy professionally and academically. She is the Edmonton Promotions Manager for World Health, and will be graduating from the University of Alberta with a bachelor of commerce in December 2012.
