The Rexall Sports Corporation and Edmonton Oilers are proud to announce the appointment of Steve Katzman to the position of Senior Vice President, Marketing in June of 2010. With his business education and marketing/ sales experience in the areas of sports, entertainment, special events, and telecommunications, Steve joins the organization from his most recent business venture in Ontario for the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships 2011 in Central Canada.
A native of St. Catharine’s Ontario, he is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts degree program from McMaster University as well as the MBA program at Niagara University, NY.
Previously, Steve served as President of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Buffalo Sabres, Regional Marketing Manager for Tim Hortons and Owner/Operator to four TELUS Mobility retail outlets.
Steve is a well known brand leader in the sports industry and the Edmonton Oilers and Family Brands are pleased to have him join the executive team as a key contributor to the marketing branch.
