Al Hamilton Scholarship Awards
These scholarships, sponsored by The Edmonton Oilers Alumni Association, in conjunction with the NHL Alumni, offer young student athletes, attending Edmonton Catholic or Edmonton Public Schools, the opportunity to pursue their athletic goals, and through post-secondary education, propel them towards their ultimate success.

These scholarships, sponsored by The Edmonton Oilers Alumni Association, in conjunction with the NHL Alumni, offer young student athletes, attending Edmonton Catholic or Edmonton Public Schools, the opportunity to pursue their athletic goals, and through post-secondary education, propel them towards their ultimate success.
Value: $2000 per year for up to four years of post-secondary education
Number: two (one male, one female)
Conditions: Each high school may nominate one male and one female grade twelve student athlete. The selection will be based on individuals who show leadership qualities, athletic and academic excellence. Financial need will also be considered. Additionally, students must be involved in a sport and plan on perusing that sport within the program at a College or University. Students must complete the information in the form and one of his/her coaches and/or instructors must write a brief letter highlighting qualities of the candidate. Any additional letters of recommendation are welcome.
