Young players between the ages of 5 through 15 can register for Oilers Hockey School and the chance to experience high calibre training. Instructors include former NHL and WHL talent with special guest appearances from Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Oil Kings players and coaches.
The Edmonton Oilers are pleased to partner with Okanagan Hockey Camps to deliver this top quality program. The Oilers Hockey School is focused on providing leading edge, top quality hockey instruction in a positive and supportive environment. As well as providing comprehensive on-ice/off-ice training, the Oilers Hockey School will provide players with the newest training techniques.

Each stream offers:
- Fully supervised full day camps (Learn to Play program half day)
- 2.5 hours of ice daily – Monday – Friday
- Goalies receive 1 hour of additional ice
- 7:1 Player to Instructor ratio
- Off-ice puck skills training
- Hockey specific dry land training
- End of session game
- Written evaluation
Learn to Play
This camp is open to players born between 2009 and 2011.This half-day camp will teach the basic fundamentals of the game in a fun, structured environment. The Learn to Play Camp is offered in the AM and PM.
Development Camp Skaters
Open to players born 2009-2006. You’ve mastered the basics. Are you ready to make some big strides in your game? The Development camp for players focuses on the fundamentals of individual skill development both on and off the ice.
Advanced Development Camp Skaters
Open to players born 2004-2005. You play with passion. You practice hard. So how do you take your game to the next level? The Advanced Development camp focuses on the refinement of fundamentals skills, both on and off the ice, while advancing into more complex and sophisticated drills and teaching techniques. Development and Advanced Development Camp Goalies
These camps are operated in conjunction with the same age group skater programs. In addition to being on the ice with the skaters, goalies will receive an additional 1 hour of goalie-only instructional ice time each day.
Open to players born 2004-2001. Their speedy winger is breaking towards the wall. Your gap is good. You’ve matched his pace. But can you stop him? The focus of the Defence Camp, both on and off the ice, is to teach players the skills and tactics required to become a better defenceman.
Battle and Compete Camp
Open to players born 2004-2001. The puck goes into the corner and you chase it. You've got the will - but do you have the skill? Our Battle and Compete Camp will push players to compete at a higher level and to become more comfortable with body contact and physically engaging drills.
Shooter and Scorers Camp
Open to players born 2004-2001. You’ve won the battle, the puck is on your stick, and the goalie moves out to challenge. What next? The Shooters & Scorers Camp is designed for players of all levels that are looking to improve their dangling and sniping skills in a fast paced, positive and fun camp environment.
Power/Battle Combo Camp
Open to players born 2007-2004. The puck goes into the corner, and you chase it. You've got the will - but do you have the speed and skill? The Power Skating/Battle Combo Camp is designed to help players of all levels improve their skating technique and mechanics in the morning and then work on puck protection, checking skills and learning to be more competitive in the afternoon.
Specialty Camp Goalies
Open to players born 2004-2001. You made a great first save. Are you ready for the rebound? The goaltenders position within our specialty camps (Defence Camp, Shooter and Scorers Camp and the Battle and Compete Camps) focuses on the refinement of fundamental skills both on and off the ice.
