Shirts Off Our Backs presented by Rogers

We’re biased, but you’d look good in orange & blue threads!

Back by popular demand, Shirts Off Our Backs presented by Rogers will take to the concourse at Rexall Place on December 21, 2014 as the Oilers battle the Dallas Stars! Limited game tickets are still available.

New this year, a full roster of limited-edition, crested, autographed Oilers Christmas sweaters is up for grabs! With a donation to the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton, fans will have the opportunity to win one of these limited-edition, autographed sweaters being raffled throughout the game. Raffle tickets are available by donation at $5 each or five for $20 with proceeds benefiting the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton and the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation.

As the presenting sponsor of Shirts Off Our Backs, Rogers is excited to partner with the EOCF and as a special thank you to everyone participating in Shirts Off Our Backs and helping out the Christmas Bureau, Rogers is offering raffle ticket holders the chance to win an “Ultimate Oilers Experience package”. The package includes two tickets to an Oilers Game, dinner, a behind-the-scenes tour of Rexall Place, and two un-crested Oilers Christmas sweaters.

This year, the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton will aim to raise $1.8 million to help over 65,000 Edmontonians in need. It wouldn’t be Christmas without family, friends and turkey – of course! But, for some, it wouldn’t be Christmas without the help of the Christmas Bureau.

Established in 2001, the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) continues the Oilers legacy of giving back by contributing its unique resources and financial support to charitable organizations that serve the communities of Northern Alberta.  Led by a dedicated community Board of Directors, the EOCF has developed a number of programs and partnerships that target those who need it most.

The EOCF raises its funds through a variety of fundraising initiatives that take place during Oilers home games and the generous contributions of Oilers fans and friends.

The Foundation gives back in excess of $1 million annually to charitable organizations registered with Revenue Canada whose programs support education and health and wellness for youth throughout Oil Country.
