Ethan Moreau has been named this year’s recipient of the King Clancy Memorial Trophy. The award is presented annually to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.
The presentation was made June 18 at the 2009 NHL Awards Gala at the Pearl Concert Theater, located inside th/e Palms Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The main focus of Moreau's work in the community has been the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation’s (EOCF)
Inner City High School project.
