Oilers agree to terms with Miller
The Edmonton Oilers announced today they have agreed to terms with centre Andrew Miller on a one-year contract.
Miller, 25, recorded 34 points (8G, 26A) and 14 penalty minutes in 52 games last season with the American Hockey League's Oklahoma City Barons. He ranked sixth on the Barons in both points and assists.
The 5’10”, 180-pound centre also appeared in three games during the 2014 Calder Cup playoffs, registering four penalty minutes.
The Bloomfield Hills, Michigan native helped Yale capture their first NCAA title in 2013. As captain, Miller tallied the overtime winner in their semifinal vs. UMass-Lowell and led the Bulldogs to a championship win over Quinnipiac.
