3:04: LA's Jarret Stoll wires a shot off the post in what was their best scoring chance on the PP.

Second period is underway.

19:03: With Martin Jones down and out, David Perron threw the puck out front to Taylor Hall. Hall, however, couldn't find the trigger as Jones came up with a massive save. 16:00: A flurry of shots in the opening four minutes has the Oilers up 5-0 in the middle frame on the shot clock.

15:02: Fasth makes a very nice pad stop on Dwight King in front of the net.

14:49: Oilers get two minutes for having too many men on the ice. 10:42: Sam Gagner is down and being tended to by Oilers trainer T.D. Forss. He has to be helped off the ice.

6:05: Gaborik's shot from the left circle finds a way past Fasth to extend the Kings lead to 3-0. | LA 3, EDM 0

16:16: Oilers announce Sam Gagner has an injured ankle and won't return.

5:51: Gaborik looks to have gotten the hat trick goal but it's ruled no goal due to incidental contact with the goaltender.
