14:15: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins makes a move at the top of the Ducks crease but just narrowly misses on a great scoring attempt shortly before colliding into Anaheim starting goaltender Jonas Hiller. 11:00: Shots are 6-3 Ducks near the midway point of the opening frame.

7:52: Oilers take a delayed penalty and it's over a minute before they're able to gain possession of the puck as Anaheim controls the play six-on-five. The penalty is Sam Gagner for holding.

4:40: Perron sets up Smyth in front for a redirection but Hiller comes across to make the save.

1:16: Stephane Robidas heads to the penalty box for hooking, giving Edmonton its first power play of the game.

0.0: Shots after one were 9-7 for Anaheim.

SECOND PERIOD

Second period starts now. 

18:25: Steve Pinizzotto dropped the gloves with Matt Beleskey in a spirited fight that saw Pinizzotto prevail with a knockout punch. 18:11: David Perron heads to the box for tripping.

16:12: Petry goes down with an injury and has to be helped off the ice after getting crushed into the end boards by Devante Smith-Pelley.

15:14: Ben Lovejoy goes to the box and Oilers go back on the power play.

13:43: Taylor Hall slips the puck past Hiller from the right side of the net to tie the game. | EDM 1, ANA 1


13:41: Matt Hendricks scraps with Patrick Maroon and gets the better of the Ducks forward with some big punches near the end. 12:42: Kyle Palmieri takes a penalty for holding the stick.

11:28: The power play comes to an end after Justin Schultz gets two for tripping.

10:39: Two seconds after the Palmieri penalty expired, David Perron wires a shot from the left circle past Hiller to put the Oilers in front for a shorthanded goal. | EDM 2, ANA 1


6:48: Beleskey and Pinizzotto each get 10-minute misconducts.

5:59: Fight night continues as Maroon drops the gloves with Mark Fraser.

3:22: Justin Schultz sneaks in from the point and pokes a loose puck past Hiller on a quick backhand to make it a two-goal Oilers lead. | EDM 3, ANA 1


0:03: David Perron receives two minutes for interference to set up a Ducks PP to start the third.

13:55: Ducks' Ryan Getzlaf rings a shot off the post.


12:51: Shots on goal are 27-20 for Anaheim.

2:04: Shots are 35-27 Ducks with just over two minutes to go in the third.

1:15: Jonas Hiller heads to the Ducks bench to give the visitors the extra attacker.

1:11: Ducks call their 30-second timeout.
