Tonight's game is now underway.

14:27: Oilers carried the play early on, outshooting Pittsburgh 3-0 through the first five minutes. Taylor Pyatt received two minutes for hooking, sending Edmonton on the game's first power play.

8:42: Shots on goal past the midway point of period one are 8-3 for Edmonton.

2:09: Ryan Smyth gets a holding penalty in Penguins territory, giving Pittsburgh their first power play of the game.

1:23: Pittsburgh's power play was shortlived. The puck was fired down the ice and was chased by Mark Arcobello. Behind the Pens net, Kris Letang bumped Arcobello and received two minutes for contact with the head.

17:51: James Neal picked up a pass from behind the net by Evgeni Malkin and quickly snapped it past Dubnyk to open the scoring. | PIT 1, EDM 0
15:43: Crosby had the puck on his stick in the slot on two occasions about 30 seconds apart but both times he couldn't get a shot away.

12:05: Sidney Crosby's centering pass went off Sam Gagner in front of the Edmonton net and in past Dubnyk to double the Pittsburgh lead to 2-0. | PIT 2, EDM 0
1:47: Gagner gets sent to the penalty box for hooking, giving Pittsburgh a late-period power play chance.

1:06: Kunitz looked to have a wide open net but Dubnyk dove across to glove the puck with a brilliant save.

1:04: Dubnyk got tangled up with Malkin as the play went up ice. Malkin got a penalty for interference, getting between Dubnyk and the Oilers goaltender's loose stick he was trying to pick up. Malkin and Dubnyk each got roughing penalties as well. The result of everything was that the Penguins power play was negated.

19:07: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins converted a three-way passing play with a quick wrist shot from the slot that beat Pens netminder Jeff Zatkoff to draw the Oilers within one. | PIT 2, EDM 1
17:32: Marincin gets sent off for hooking.

11:43: Hall and RNH skate in on a two-on-one. Hall tries to pass the puck across the crease to Nugent-Hopkins but Zatkoff intercepts it and smothers the puck.

9:53: Hall pounces on a loose puck in the crease and bangs the puck into the open cage to knot it up at 2-2. | EDM 2, PIT 2
8:32: Offsetting penalties to Marincin (cross-checking) and Neal (unsportsmanlike conduct) set up a four-on-four situation.

7:46: RNH gets sent off for holding, giving Pittsburgh a four-on-three power play. Penguins call their 30-second timeout.

7:44: Only two seconds into the power play, Crosby wins the draw to Letang who fires it past Dubnyk to put Pittsburgh back in the lead. | PIT 3, EDM 2
1:59: A wrist shot from the point by Anton Belov made its way through a screen in front past Zatkoff to tie the game once again. | EDM 3, PIT 3
23.5: Sutter heads to the box after dumping Justin Schultz behind the Edmonton net, giving the Oilers a power play chance. Oilers call their 30-second timeout.

3:59: Eberle spots Nugent-Hopkins at the side of the net. RNH makes no mistake, putting the puck into the open net to give Edmonton the win. | EDM 4, PIT 3
