19:32: Oilers got on the power play early after Nail Yakupov was upended in the corner of the Panthers zone by Tom Gilbert.
19:03: The Oilers didn't waste any time as Jordan Eberle batted in a rebound after Ryan Nugent-Hopkins wristed a shot in from the point. | EDM 1, FLA 0
13:29: Boyd Gordon gets sent off for hooking.
10:17: Jimmy Hayes for Florida gets a cross-checking penalty, sending the Oilers back on the power play.
3:02: Off the rush, Sam Gagner stickhandled his way in front of the Panthers net but was bumped just before attempting to put the puck in past Thomas, who stayed standing on the play. Thomas had his helmet bumped off.
0.0: After one period, shots on goal were 12-6 for Edmonton.

13:50: Sam Gagner takes a pass from Nail Yakupov in the slot and roofs it top corner on Thomas, scoring his first of the season. | EDM 2, FLA 0
13:19: Yakupov gets two minutes for roughing, putting the Panthers on the power play for the first time in the period.
12:29: That power play was shortlived as 50 seconds later Brad Boyes was sent to the box.
10:27: Just as the Boyes penalty expired, the Panthers went right back to the box. Scottie Upshall received two minutes for slashing.
9:06: Justin Schultz hammered a one-timer from the top of the left circle that was tipped in front by David Perron and went high on Thomas, extending the Edmonton lead to three goals. | EDM 3, FLA 0
3:26: Florida gets a goal back as Upshall's shot from the side of the net found its way off Dubnyk and into the back of the net. | EDM 3, FLA 1

18:37: Brian Campbell gets two minutes for slashing, sending Edmonton on the power play for the fifth time on the night.
17:41: Power play ends prematurely after a penalty for having too many men on the ice goes to the Oilers.
15:35: Just as the penalty expired, Andrew Ference engaged in some fisticuffs with Upshall. Ference made quick work of Upshall. He also recieved an extra two for roughing, sending the Panthers back on the power play.
13:03: The penalty parade continues for the Oilers. Nick Schultz heads to the bin to give Florida its fifth power play of the game.
6:25: Shots were 33-24 Oilers with just over six minutes left in the third.
1:11: Jordan Eberle scores an empty netter to clinch the outcome.
