Minute-by-minute updates as the Oilers take on the Lightning in Tampa
The Edmonton Oilers play their 17th game of the regular season tonight and 11th on the road. Taylor Hall draws back into the lineup tonight and Linus Omark makes his season debut.

19:02: Ondrej Palat gets two minutes for holding, giving the Oilers an early power play.
17:00: Just as the penalty expired, Ryan Smyth was sent off for goaltender interference to put the Lightning on the man advantage.
15:19: With 19 seconds left in the Smyth penalty, Eberle pushed the puck ahead to Mark Arcobello who skated in alone on Lightning netminder Ben Bishop. He tried to go five hole but Bishop made the stop.
13:30: Through the first six-and-a-half minutes of the game, the Oilers had a 5-1 edge in shots.
12:23: Nail Yakupov turned the puck over at the blueline to Steven Stamkos, who rifled a shot from the high slot top corner past Dubnyk to put the Lightning on the board. | TB 1, EDM 0
9:49: Oilers came right back on the attack after the goal and had some solid chances, the best of which resulted in the game-tying goal. Ales Hemsky skated in on a partial break and was denied by Bishop but Eberle scooped up the rebound and took his time before feeding Taylor Fedun in the slot. 52.7: Stamkos strips the puck from Eberle along the side boards then skates behind the net before wrapping it in past Dubnyk and putting the Lightning back in the lead. | TB 2, EDM 1
24.4: Hall gets in behind the Lightning defence and tries to deke out Bishop but the Tampa netminder is equal to the task.
0.0: Shots on goal after one period were 12-10 for the Oilers.
20:00: Second period is now underway.
18:44: Philip Larsen gets two minutes for delay of game to put the Lightning on their second power play of the evening.
16:30: Dubnyk made several stops during the man advantage, none bigger than a reaching paddle save off Palat.
12:00: With 12 minutes left in the middle frame, shots on goal were 7-4 Oilers in the period and 19-14 overall.
10:42: Coach Eakins shakes up the lines, with Omark on the top line with Nugent-Hopkins and Eberle. RNH is also seeing double duty on the fourth line with Smyth and Jones. Yakupov, Gordon and Arcobello are another line and Hall/Hemsky/Gagner.

8:51: Tempers flare with just under nine minutes to go in the middle frame. Radko Gudas got a tripping penalty as he stuck his leg out on Jeff Petry. Andrew Ference jumped in and got two for roughing.
3:20: A turnover sends Taylor Hall in all alone on Bishop. Hall's shot is denied by the Lightning netminder. Bishop then made another big stop as Hemsky corralled the rebound.
1:27: Several minutes later, Tyler Johnson made a nice move in the slot before firing one past Dubnyk to increase the Tampa Bay lead to 3-1. | TB 3, EDM 1

10:24: Ales Hemsky was tripped up along the side boards in the Lightning zone by Sami Salo with just over 10 minutes to play in the third period.
9:37: Bishop slides over to rob Taylor Hall but the Oilers winger regroups and picks up the puck at the right circle where he wires it past the Lightning netminder to make it a one-goal game. | TB 3, EDM 2
3:12: Bishop absolutely robs Boyd Gordon after a brilliant pass from Yakupov in the slot. Gordon's shot goes glove but Bishop knocks it away.
