2:51 PM - OILERS AGREE TO TERMS WITH LW RYAN HAMILTON

The Oilers have agreed to terms with left wing Ryan Hamilton on a two-year deal.

Hamilton, 28, has played in 12 NHL games in his career with three assists and two penalty minutes. Last season, he had 56 games played, 30 goals and 48 points for the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.

12:46 PM - OILERS AGREE TO TERMS WITH C WILL ACTON

The Oilers have agreed to terms with centre Will Acton on a two-year deal.

Acton, a native of Stouffville, Ontario, is 25 years old and is listed at 6'2" 190 lbs. Last season, in 67 games with the Toronto Marlies of the AHL he had eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points and 60 penalty minutes.

11:20 AM - OILERS AGREE TO TERMS WITH F JESSE JOENSUU

The Oilers have agreed to terms with forward Jesse Joensuu on a two-year deal.

Joensuu, 25, is a 6'4" 209 lb forward who played seven games last season for the New York Islanders, netting two assists. The native of Pori, Finland has played 67 career NHL games -- all with the Islanders. He has eight goals and 15 points with 47 career penalty minutes.

10:37 AM - OILERS AGREE TO TERMS WITH BOYD GORDON AND JASON LABARBERA

The Oilers have agreed to terms with centre Boyd Gordon on a three-year deal and goaltender Jason LaBarbera on a one-year deal.

Boyd Gordon, 29, had four goals and 10 assists for 14 points with the Phoenix Coyotes last season. He ranked eighth in the NHL with a 57.3% faceoff percentage.

In 486 career NHL games with Phoenix and Washington, Gordon has 39 goals and 83 assists for 122 points and 100 penalty minutes.

Jason LaBarbera, 33, played 15 games last season for the Phoenix Coyotes. He had a 4-6-2 record with a 2.64 goals-against average and .923 save percentage.

In 175 career NHL games with Phoenix, Vancouver, Los Angeles and the NY Rangers he has a 59-70-19 record with a 2.84 goals-against average and .908 save percentage.

10:25 AM - OILERS AGREE TO TERMS WITH ANDREW FERENCE

The Oilers have agreed to terms with defenceman Andrew Ference to a four-year deal.

Ference, 34, had four goals and nine assists for 13 points and 35 penalty minutes with the Boston Bruins last season. He had two assists in 14 playoff games. He ranked third among Bruins defencemen with 24:31 of ice time.

In 760 career NHL games with Boston, Calgary and Pittsburgh Ference has 37 goals, 156 assists for 193 points plus 645 penalty minutes.

8:30 AM - OILERS ACQUIRE PHILIP LARSEN

General Manager Craig MacTavish has announced that the Oilers have acquired defenceman Philip Larsen and a 2016 seventh-round draft choice from the Dallas Stars in exchange for Shawn Horcoff.

Larsen, a right-handed 23-year-old, appeared in 32 games with the Stars last season, notching a pair of goals and three assists while averaging 14:52 per game in ice time.

The Esbjerg, Denmark native was drafted by the Stars in the fifth round, 149th overall in 2008.

Horcoff, 34, played 12 seasons in Edmonton. Drafted in the fourth round, 99th overall in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-1, 208-pound pivot has tallied 162 goals and 447 points in 796 career NHL games, all of which have been played with the Oilers.

In 35 career post-season games, including the 24 that were played during the club's run to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final in 2006, the product of Trail, British Columbia recorded 10 goals and 23 points.

Horcoff was named as the 13th captain in Oilers history on Oct. 6, 2010.
