PrintGeneral Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have assigned centre Chris VandeVelde to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
VandeVelde was recalled from Oklahoma City on February 12th, appearing in 10 games with the Oilers. In 38 games with the Barons this season he has registered 10 points (2G, 8A).
