Oilers acquire Mike Brown from Toronto

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have acquired forward Mike Brown from the Toronto Maple Leafs, in exchange for a fourth round draft choice in the 2014 NHL Draft.
Brown, 27, has accumulated one assist, and 70 penalty minutes in 12 games this season with the Maple Leafs.
The 5’11”, 205 pound forward has played seven NHL seasons with the Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim Ducks, and Toronto Maple Leafs. The Chicago, Illinois native has accumulated 25 points (14G, 11A), and 519 penalty minutes in 254 career NHL games.
Brown was drafted in the 5th round, 159th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2004 NHL Draft.
