Oilers Assign VandeVelde

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have assigned centre Chris VandeVelde, to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
VandeVelde was recalled from Oklahoma City on February 8th and played in one game against the Detroit Red Wings. In 38 games with the Barons this season; he has registered 10 points (2G, 8A).
Edmonton Oilers hockey is presented in part by the Rexall Family of Pharmacies, Molson Canadian, TELUS and Ford.
