PrintGeneral Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled centre Chris VandeVelde, from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
VandeVelde, 25, has played 38 games with the Barons this season, registering 10 points (2G, 8A). The Minnesota native has three points (1G, 2A) in 17 career NHL games with the Oilers.
