Oilers Make Roster Changes
General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have assigned winger Magnus Paajarvi to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League and recalled centre Anton Lander from the Barons.
Paajarvi has played in five games for the Oilers this season since being recalled from the Barons on January 12th.
Lander, 20, has played in 39 games with the Barons this season, recording 10 points (3G, 7A). The Sundsvall, Sweden native is in his second professional season in North America after being selected in the 2nd round (40th overall) by the Oilers in the 2009 NHL Draft.
In 2011-12, Lander played in 56 games for the Oilers registering six points (2G, 4A). He also appeared in 14 games with Oklahoma City, tallying five points (1G, 4A).
