Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation shares more than $150,000 in Christmas funding
Edmonton, AB – The people behind the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation are grateful to be able to make the holiday season merrier for a number of Oil Country charities. Executive Director Natalie Minckler announced today more than $150,000 has been shared with the following organizations:
Christmas Bureau of Edmonton
Alberta Cancer Foundation
Mustard Seed
Vermillion Elementary School Lunch Program
Hope Air
Easter Seals
Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
Alberta Adaptabilities
Inner City Youth Development Association
Hope Haven
Minckler says, “We take pride in being able to give back to the community but we must point out we could not do this without the help of our fans and supporters all across Oil Country. The people at the charitable organizations who receive these contributions tell us the money not only makes the holiday season brighter, it allows them to provide services to clients with year round.”
Today’s contributions bring the Foundation’s funding total to more than a quarter of a million dollars ($227,000) since July 1, 2012.
