Minute-by-minute updates from Oklahoma City versus San Antonio
20:00: The third period is now underway. Dov Grumet-Morris is now in goal for San Antonio.
14:54: Cornet and Robak did some pushing and shoving in front of the Rampage net. The spat ended with Robak cross-checking Cornet to the ice and that was enough for referee Keith Kaval as he sent the Rampage defenceman to the box.
12:01: Some pushing and shoving after the whistle results in a Rampage power play. Anton Lander gets four minutes for roughing while his counterpart Scott Timmins only gets two.
7:05: Josh Green drops the gloves with James Wright for a bloody bout. The two trade haymakers for about 30 seconds before falling to the ice. Green is busted open in the fight.
6:53: Chris VandeVelde gets two minutes for roughing as tempers really start to boil over between the two sides.
2:42: Magnus Paajarvi skates in on the rush and fires a shot past Grumet-Morris to extend Oklahoma City's lead to 5-1. | OKC 5, SA 1
1.5: More tempers between the two sides, this time Dane Byers with his second fight of the game, taking on Alex Petrovic in a slow plodding bout.
0.0: The final buzzer goes and the Barons win 5-1. Shots on goal are 35 to 26 for OKC.
20:00: The second period is now underway.
19:06: Barons go back on the power play after San Antonio's Colby Robak takes a penalty.
16:00: Jordan Henry gets sent off for roughing to give San Antonio their first power play of the night.
13:21: Shortly after the Barons killed off the Henry minor, Jason DeSantis gets a delay-of-game minor.
13:13: The power play is short-lived as eight seconds later, Hall takes a slashing penalty.
11:41: San Antonio makes it a 3-1 game while the two teams are playing four-on-four. On a breakaway, Jon Sim fires a shot five-hole past Danis for the goal. | OKC 3, SA 1
6:22: Justin Schultz picks up a rebound in front of the net and puts it into the open cage to regain Oklahoma City's three-goal lead. | OKC 4, SA 1
5:53: Jordan Henry gets an interference penalty as the Rampage buzz around the Barons net and nearly score their second of the game.
2:34: Barons nearly score a couple of times during a sequence of events where Hall and Eberle skated in on a two-on-one. Eberle's shot was stopped by Markstrom and the play went back the other way with a Rampage three-on-two. That play was broken up by Mark Arcobello who then turned it into a three-on-one with Hall and Eberle going back the other way. Hall's pass to Eberle in front was broken up.
14.4: With the Barons pressing for a goal late in the period, San Antonio's James Wright is forced to take a penalty, slashing Paajarvi in front of the Rampage net.
0:00: Shots on goal after two periods were 28 to 17 for Oklahoma City.
20:00: Tonight's game is now underway.
17:38: San Antonio's Colby Robak takes an interference penalty to put Oklahoma City on the power play early.
9:41: Jordan Eberle strips the puck from Rampage defenceman Michael Caruso at the blueline then breaks in alone on goaltender Jacob Markstrom. After some quick stickhandling, Eberle fires the puck by Markstrom for the goal. | OKC 1, SA 0
9:11: Barons looked to extend their lead to two goals 30 seconds later as it appeared the puck crossed the goal line. The light went on but it was ruled that the puck never crossed the line.
8:05: Taylor Hall takes the puck out in front of the net and backhands it past Markstrom to double the Barons lead. | OKC 2, SA 0
8:05: Following the goal, San Antonio calls a timeout to try and settle their troops.
8:04: Right off the draw, Dane Byers drops the gloves with Rampage defenceman and captain Nolan Yonkman. The fight is a quick one with neither combatant getting much of an edge in the bout.
2:26: During a mad scramble in front of the net, Colten Teubert got a stick on teh puck at the top of the crease and managed to tuck it under Markstrom just enough over the line to count. | OKC 3, SA 0
0.0: After San Antonio initially had a 6-2 lead in shots, the Barons roared back to outshoot the Rampage 17-8 in the period.
