20:00: The third period is now underway.
16:14: Danis stops the initial shot from Connelly and the rebound by McIntyre, but Mikael Granlund is at the doorstep to put the second rebound in past a sprawled-out Barons netminder and draw the Aeros within two. | OKC 3, HOU 1
15:36: Less than a minute later, the Aeros strike again. Larsson takes a nice pass across the slot from Charlie Coyle and converts to make it 3-2. | OKC 3, HOU 2
12:10: A hit by Teubert injures Granlund. The Aeros star struggles to get up before falling back down again and needs to be helped to the dressing room.
10:27: Cam Abney takes a penalty, giving Houston a power play with a chance to tie the game.
9:07: With the man advantage, Aeros convert to tie the game at 3-3. Coyle quickly converts a pass from Connelly past Danis for the goal. | OKC 3, HOU 3
6:16: Jordan Eberle responds for the Barons, taking a great pass across the slot from Schultz and converting to put the Barons back in front. | OKC 4, HOU 3
5:31: Taylor Hall hammers Jonas Brodin into the boards behind the Aeros net. Hall gets a five-minute penalty (match penalty, blow to the head) and a game misconduct.
48.2: Danis makes a save to conclude an epic 4.5 minutes as the Aeros had the Barons pinned for the majority but they were unable to convert.
0:00: Barons pull out a wild one, outshot 38 to 18 but winning 4-3.
20:00: The second period is now underway. Martin Marincin was not out to join the team at the start of the period.
12:49: Antti Tyrvainen and Brett Bulmer both get sent to the box, creating a four-on-four situation. Bullmer got two for roughing, while Tyrvainen got two for embellishment.
11:25: Houston carried most of the momentum through the first half of the middle frame. The shot count was 15 to 8 for the Aeros in the game to this point and 7-2 in the period.
10:55: Yann Danis comes up huge, stretching to snag a Brian Connelly shot out of mid-air after the Aeros forward thought he had a wide-open net.
1:33: Barons extend their lead to 3-0. Teemu Hartikainen fires a shot from the corner of the Aeros zone that goes off the skate of Kuemper and in. | OKC 3, HOU 0
0:00: Shots on goal after 40 minutes were 21 to 13 for Houston, but the Barons held a 3-0 lead on the scoreboard.

19:22: It only took Taylor Hall 38 seconds to get on the board. Hall tipped a point shot from Colten Teubert past Aeros starting netminder Darcy Kuemper, scoring his first goal on his first shift. | OKC 1, HOU 0
18:34: Less than a minute later, Jordan Eberle picked up a loose puck just outside the crease and poked it past Kuemper to double the Barons lead. | OKC 2, HOU 0
18:34: The Aeros call a timeout to try and regain their composure after the fast start by Oklahoma City.
14:38: Barons starting goalie Yann Danis makes a nice glove stop off David McIntyre who fires a shot from the left circle through a screen as the Aeros start to put the pressure on after a rocky start.
6:54: Teemu Hartikainen runs Chay Genoway through the boards deep in the Aeros zone, giving Houston the game's first power play. Hartikainen was sent off for boarding.
4:20: Hartikainen lets another thunderous hit go after coming out of the penalty box.
3:33: Johan Larsson gets two minutes for roughing to put the Barons on the power play for the first time on the night.
0:00: Shots on goal after one period were 8-6 for Houston.
The Oklahoma City Barons face the Houston Aeros tonight. We'll be updating the action from the game as it happens. We'll also be adding photos, videos from big plays and more throughout the game.
The Barons will be making wholesale changes to their lineup with tonight being the first of three games in three days, plus the additions of Taylor Hall, Cameron Abney and Teigan Zahn.
