20:00: The third period is now underway. Martin Marincin is back on the ice.
14:51: Jordan Eberle has the puck in front of the net and attempts to backhand it in but is hauled down with no call. Coming back down to the other end of the ice, Antti Tyrvainen gets a hooking penalty to give Lake Erie the power play.
13:53: Magnus Paajarvi gets a boarding penalty to give Lake Erie a two-man advantage.
13:00: After cycling the puck for close to a minute, the Monsters finally connect to tie the game. Thomas Pock wires a shot from the high slot past Roy. | OKC 3, LE 3
10:43: VandeVelde looks like he hurt his wrist near the midway point of the period. He stays on the ice until the puck leaves the zone then heads for the bench.
8:07: With Schultz in the box, Lake Erie takes the lead after a shot by Karl Stollery is deflected off the stick of Dane Byers in front. | LE 4, OKC 3
1:40: Kristians Pelss levels Luke Walker with a hit to the head putting the Barons down a man but needing a goal with less than two minutes to play.
1:18: Jordan Eberle nearly ties it with a rush up ice but his backhand attempt is stopped by Aittokallio.
0:00: Monsters add an empty-net goal to ice the outcome and come away with the 5-3 victory.
20:00: The second period is now underway.
18:04: Andrew Agozzino quickly backhands the puck in past Olivier Roy off the rush after taking a pass from Paul Carey to put Lake Erie in front. | LE 2, OKC 1
15:43: Justin Schultz does it again! He skates into the Monsters zone untouched and drives right to the net before putting it in to tie the game. | OKC 2, LE 2
11:36: Roy makes a huge stop, denying Mark Olver on a clear-cut breakaway.
9:57: Magnus Paajarvi tees up a shot from the blueline that finds its way past Aittokallio and puts the Barons back in front | OKC 3, LE 2
7:56: David van der Gulik takes the game's first penalty, for hooking.
5:45: After coming out of the penalty box, van der Gulik levels Marincin and hurts the Barons defencemen. Marincin skates gingerly to the bench. He did not play another shift in the period.
0:00: Shots on goal after 40 minutes were 22 to 15 for Oklahoma City.

14:14: Almost six minutes into the game and no shots on goal yet. There are two referees tonight. Last night there was only one.
13:20: Schultz slices through the Lake Erie defence and nearly scores an unbelievable highlight-reel goal but it's poked off his stick at the last moment.
12:33: Ryan Martindale dishes the puck to Taylor Fedun in the slot and Fedun spots Curtis Hamilton perched at the right side of the net. Hamilton puts the puck in before Monsters goaltender Sami Aittokallio can get across. | OKC 1, LE 0
8:10: Bryan Lerg has the puck alone in the slot and tries to go low glove side but Olivier Roy is sharp in kicking it out.
2:38: Lake Erie ties the game up when Lerg finds Tyson Barrie at the top of the crease for a quick one-two play ending with Barrie firing it glove side past Roy for the goal. | OKC 1, LE 1
0:00: Buzzer sounds to end the first period of play. Shots on goal were 8-6 for Lake Erie.
The Oklahoma City Barons take on the Lake Erie Monsters for the third time this season. We'll be updating the action from the game as it happens. We'll also be adding photos, videos from big plays and more throughout the game.
The Barons are making five rosters moves from last night. Josh Green (ribs) is out. Also, Mark Arcobello, Tanner House and Dan Ringwald are healthy scratches. Drawing in is Anton Lander, Ryan Martindale and Kristians Pelss plus Brandon Davidson on D. Olivier Roy gets the start in goal instead of Yann Danis.
