16:51: Mark Arcobello took a delay-of-game penalty.

14:15: Just after the penalty expires, tempers start to flare between both sides. There's some pushing and shoving just in front of the penalty box area with the lone penalty going to Houston's Brett Bulmer for boarding.

12:55: Justin Schultz makes a nice pass across the neutral zone to set up a chance for Teemu Hartikainen. Hartikainen skates into the right circle where his shot just misses the mark high over the net.

12:47: Drew Bagnall takes an interference penalty to give the Barons a two-man advantage for 33 seconds.

12:07: Just as the first penalty expires, Hartikainen has a great chance in front of the net to open the scoring but Hackett kicks it away.

10:36: Tyler Bunz replaces Olivier Roy in goal. Roy made 8 saves on 8 shots in his 29:24 of action.

8:18: Pelss uses his speed to create some separation as he streaks down the right wing side. Hackett had to be quick to make the save.

5:36: Tyrvainen levels Houston's Jason Zucker in the corner and receives two minutes for kneeing.

3:43: Things start to get ugly as Steven Kampfer sticks out his leg to take out Curtis Hamilton while in the Barons zone. Teigan Zahn takes exception and does some pushing and shoving. The net result is a power play for the Barons which starts in seven seconds.

3:20: Barons get on the board first only three seconds into the power play. Ryan Martindale pounces on a loose puck during a broken play and inserts it into the open cage as Hackett can't get over in time. Hartikainen and Ringwald got the assists. | WATCH THE GOAL
