The Edmonton Oilers have chosen LW Mitch Moroz (Edmonton Oil Kings, WHL) 32nd, LW Jujhar Khaira (Prince George, BCHL) 63rd, LW Daniil Zharkov (Belleville, OHL) 91st, D Erik Gustafsson (Djurgarden, SWE) 93rd, D Joey Laleggia (U. of Denver, WCHA) 123rd and RW John McCarron (Cornell U., ECAC) 153rd overall.

ROUND 2 - 32nd overall - Mitch Moroz, LW, Edmonton Oil Kings
MITCH MOROZ PROFILE:
In 66 games with the WHL's Edmonton Oil Kings in 2011-12, Moroz scored 16 goals and 25 points, accumulating 131 penalty minutes in the process. The 6'2", 209-pound winger added eight points (four goals) in 20 post-season games en route to the Oil Kings' WHL Championship.
ROUND 3 - 63rd overall - Jujhar Khaira, LW, Prince George (BCHL)
JUJHAR KHAIRA PROFILE:
Khaira ended the 2011-12 campaign ranked 10th in BCHL scoring, lighting the lamp 29 times and adding 50 assists -- the highest-ranked BCHL skater in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
ROUND 3 - 91st overall - Daniil Zharkov, LW, Belleville (OHL)
DANIIL ZHARKOV PROFILE:
• Despite missing the start of the year with a broken collarbone he sustained in training camp, Zharkov bounced back to record 36 points (23-13—36) in his first season in the OHL and rank third on Belleville in goals. He registered three points (1-2--3) in six playoff games.
• Zharkov competed for Team Russia at the 2012 Under-18 World Championship, posting five points (1-4--5) in six games.
• He split to the 2010-11 season between Serebryanie LVI St. Petersburg (MHL) and the Tri-City Storm (USHL). Zharkov recorded three points (1-2--3) in 12 games for St. Petersburg and 11 points (8-3--11) in 36 games for Tri-City.
• Zharkov started playing hockey when he was four and credits his parents for having the biggest influence on his career – “[I] always spend time with my dad and he encourage[s] me. Always talk with mom after game."

ROUND 4 - 93rd overall - Erik Gustafsson, D, Djurgarden (Sweden)
ERIK GUSTAFSSON PROFILE:
As a 19-year-old last season, Gustafsson regularly played 25+ minutes a night while Djurgarden went through a tough, roster-reducing bout with injuries. Not only did he survive the assignment, he thrived. In 41 games in the Elitserien, he scored three goals and seven points, recording a -3 rating and 16 penalty minutes.
ROUND 5 - 123rd overall - Joey Laleggia, D, University of Denver (WHCA)
JOEY LALEGGIA PROFILE:
Prior to his career at the University of Denver, Laleggia had a successful stint in Penticton of the BCHL. In 54 games in 2009-10, he collected 13 goals and 65 points -- that presence carried over into the college ranks, as he posted 38 points in 43 games last season.
ROUND 6 - 153rd overall - John McCarron, RW, Cornell U. (ECAC)
JOHN MCCARRON PROFILE:
McCarron, 20, scored six goals and 19 points in 35 regular-season games with Cornell last year. Prior to his career in the ECAC, he played with the Lincoln Stars of the USL, appearing in 137 games over parts of three seasons. In 2010-11, his last with Lincoln, he captained the Stars and produced 24 goals and 57 points in 60 games.
