CBC Hockey Night in Canada’s Play On! Edmonton
Canada’s largest sports festival visits West Edmonton Mall on June 2 & 3, 2012
On June 2 & 3, 2012 the City of Edmonton will be buzzing with excitement as Hockey Night in Canada’s Play On! Edmonton – Presented by West Edmonton Mall Attractions, makes its nation wide tour stop to Edmonton. Play On! Edmonton is part of a highly organized national street hockey series that is designed to appeal to current generation of Canadians and their families, and represents a national celebration of hockey in its most pure form.
The Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Oil Kings Hockey Clubs will once again be a major part of this exciting national event with their events team being onsite for the entire weekend.
Over 3500 participants and 20,000 spectators will take part in this year’s event. The weekend will feature a minimum of 4 games per team, a hockey festival atmosphere, a celebrity game, special guest appearances, NHL player appearances and fun activities for all who participate. If you are a hockey fan you have to be there!
Registrations are limited and currently being accepted (until May 28, 2012) for all ages (children, youth & adult), all ability levels and both genders at www.playon.ca. Organize your team and register today before it is too late!
