Oilers recall Paajarvi
20-year-old has collected 22 points in 27 games with the AHL's OKC Barons

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled left-winger Magnus Paajarvi from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
Paajarvi, 20, has 22 points (5G, 17A) in 27 games with the Barons this season. He is 2nd on the team behind current-Oiler Linus Omark with a 0.81 points-per-game total, and earlier this month he had a seven-game point streak (3G, 6A) . Paajarvi also has two goals and six assists in 41 games with the Oilers.
The 6’2”, 204-pound Norrkoping, Sweden native played 80 games last season with the Oilers collecting 15 goals and 19 assists.
