WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28th.
The newly introduced salaries for all our highlighted players will take place following Wednesday's game versus Dallas. At the end of Wednesday's game, all remaining players salaries will be reset to their real cap hit values as normal.
Here are this week’s salary amendments:
ALES HEMSKY ($4M > $5M)
Ales showed signs of what he is capable of offensively this week. Hemsky would put up four points(3G, 1A) in four games this week but it was his big night in Nashville that sees Hemsky rise this week.
Ales would have a four-point night in the win over the Predators including his first career hat-trick. WIth the season winding down, now is the time for Hemsky to find his touch and finish strong.
SHAWN HORCOFF ($5M > $2M)
Shawn Horcoff was not able to factor in on any of the offensive production over the past week. Despite solid playing time, Horcoff was held pointless over the four games.
With 34 points and a -20 rating on the season, Horcoff continues to be a fringe fantasy option at best. Given his high salary, fantasy owners should buy with extreme caution on Horcoff, no matter what the cost.
SAM GAGNER ($2M - $3M)
Gagner enjoyed a solid week coming off a drop in salary during the last forecast. Sam put up four points(2G, 2A) in the four games and was a +4 this week.
Sam has enjoyed a solid campaign in 2011-2012 with 46 points(17G, 29A) in 69 games. As the season winds down, Gagner hopes to finish strong and hit the 50-point mark for the first time in his career.
