General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Colten Teubert from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.

Teubert, 21, has played in 17 games with the Barons this season, recording two goals and four assists.

The 6'4", 200-pound White Rock, BC native was recalled November 18 by Edmonton and has appeared in 10 games with the club recording his first NHL point, an assist on November 5 at Phoenix.

Teubert was acquired last year from Los Angeles with a 1st round pick (Klefbom) and a 3rd round 2012 pick in exchange for Dustin Penner.

Edmonton Oilers hockey is presented in part by the Rexall Family of Pharmacies, Molson Canadian, ATB Financial, TELUS, Cenovus Energy and Ford.
