Vote for the Play of the Week - Oct. 24-30
Each week, edmontonoilers.com reviews all the top goals, saves, hits and fights and narrows it down to the final three. That means it's up to you, the fans, to decide which is the top play for the week.

Last week, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' snipe emerged victorious with 49% of the votes over Ryan Smyth's goal (36%) and Taylor Hall's 1st of the season (15%).

In Week 3, Nikolai Khabibulin's great sliding save on Sami Salo goes head-to-head with Taylor Hall's Tic-Tac-Toe and Cam Barker's 1st as an Oiler.

Khabibulin's Sliding Denial

With the Oilers up 3-1 vs. Vancouver, Nikolai Khabibulin came up big to preserve his team's two-goal lead.

Alex Burrows' shot went wide, but Sami Salo was quick to pounce, hammering the puck in on Khabibulin's gaping cage. The veteran netminder makes a strong push, beating the puck's pace to erase the scoring chance in emphatic fashion.

Hall's Tic-Tac-Toe

Washington, a team with high-octane scoring in Alex Ovechkin and others, was stunned with the Oilers' quick puck movement.
