Oilers Movember 2011 Update
24 Oilers players & staff are growing moustaches in support of the fight against prostate cancer this month

PrintMovember (the month formerly known as November) is a moustache-growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health.
This year, 24 Oilers players and staff will be participating in the event. Check back regularly for updates on how your favourite Oilers are doing.
Since 2009 the Oilers organization has raised over $35,000 in support of Movember and Prostate Cancer Canada. This year, 10 players, 12 staff members, and the entire Oil Kings roster will once again start Growing Their Mo’ for a good cause. The money raised in Canada goes directly to Prostate Cancer Canada who will use the funds for the development of programs related to awareness, public education, advocacy, support of those affected, and research into the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of prostate cancer in Northern Alberta.
In 2010, nearly 119,000 Canadian Mo Bros and Mo Sistas got on board, raising $22.3 million CAD. The Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and Edmonton Oil Kings are proud participate in the 2011 Movember movement.
