Chorney claimed off waivers by St. Louis
24-year-old blueliner was waived for purpose of assignment to AHL's OKC Barons, but was claimed by the Blues early Tuesday
General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have placed defenceman Taylor Chorney on waivers for purpose of assignment to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
Chorney, 24, split last season with the Oilers, where he had a goal and three assists in 12 games, and with the Barons, appearing in 46 games collecting 16 points (3G, 13A).
The 6’0”, 189-pound Thunder Bay, Ontario native has appeared in 56 career NHL games with Edmonton scoring a goal and adding six assists.
