Oilers announce 2011 pre-season schedule
The Edmonton Oilers will begin their 33rd season in the NHL with a eight-game pre-season schedule, including four games at Rexall Place and four on the road.

On September 20, the Oilers open the 2011 pre-season with a split squad game versus the Minnesota Wild at Rexall Place and a road game in Saskatoon, SK against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Oilers will also entertain the Vancouver Canucks on September 22 and the Calgary Flames on September 24 in the first of a home-and-home with their provincial rivals.

The Phoenix Coyotes visit Rexall Place on September 27 before the Oilers round out the pre-season with games in Minnesota (September 30) and Vancouver (October 1).
