SWEDEN VS NORWAY
The game started well for Sweden. Although Norway quickly matched Loui Eriksson's opening goal, two goals by Patrik Berglund gave the Swedes a 3-1 lead.
Berglund's second goal, a pretty power-play marker, was assisted by Paajarvi and David Petrasek.
In the second period, Norway went on the offensive. Capitalizing on Swedish penalties and miscues, the underdog Norwegians got two pucks past Swedish goalie Erik Ersberg to tie the game at three.
Sweden took the lead again midway through the third, but Norway countered with less than five minutes remaining in regulation, forcing overtime and a shootout.
It was here that Norway excelled, scoring on their first two attempts and receiving two big stops from netminder Lars Haugen to steal a 5-4 win over their Scandinavian rivals. The historic event marked Norway's first-ever victory over Sweden at any level since they started playing eachother in 1950.
On an individual note, Paajarvi finished with one point, three shots, and +1 in 15:49. Matching Eriksson's two-point performance, former Oiler Robert Nilsson registered two assists in the game.

As for Dubnyk, Eberle, and the rest of Team Canada, they take on France Sunday, May 1 at 8:15am MT. The Canadians should be familiar with French tactics: with Dubnyk between the pipes, Canada defeated France 3-2 in exhibition play one week ago.
