Dear Oilers Fan,
One of many shortcomings at the aging Rexall Place became particularly apparent on February 27, 2011 when the Oilers hosted the Boston Bruins. More than 20 of our valued ticket purchasers were rained out of their seats – inside Rexall Place, as the building leaked on top of our fans in section 231.
As this picture illustrates, the leaking created a negative experience for many in the section. I would like to offer my sincere apologies on behalf of the Oilers organization to the fans that were impacted. If this leaking impacted you, please contact us at 780-414-GOAL (4625) or customerservice@edmontonoilers.com so we can share some love.
At the Oilers, we count our fans one at a time. Hopefully someday soon we may have a new world-class home for you and your Oilers. As always, thank you for your support.
