Vote for the Snickers Play of the Week - Feb. 28 - Mar. 6
Each week, reviews all the top goals, saves, hits and fights and narrows it down to the final three. That means it's up to you, the fans, to decide which is the top play for the week.

The Oilers walked away last week with a victory in every game they played.  Each game brought something different for Oil Country, thus three very different plays on this week's list.  A shootout winner by Omark, Hall's Gordie Howe hat trick, and a shorthanded goal by Cogliano and Reddox go head-to-head this week.

Last week, Jim Vandermeer's decision proved to be the favourite with 41% of the votes.  Penner's goal on the powerplay came in second (33%) while Brule's goal was third (26%). Who will win this week? Watch the clips and vote to find out!

Omark's Sneaky Shootout Winner

Last Tuesday night, the Oilers and Predators played a close, 2-1 game that was ultimately decided in a shootout that required extra shooters. When his name was called, Omark delivered by slipping one past Pekka Rinne, eventually winning the game for the Oilers.

Hall's Gordie Howe

Last Thursday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets was all Taylor Hall. The rookie forward had a multi-point game, grabbing a goal and an assist, but he sent a real message in the second period when he dropped the gloves with Derek Dorsett. The fight completed a Gordie Howe hat trick for Hall.

Reddox and Cogliano Shorthanded

The Oilers started a five game road trip Saturday night against the Colorado Avalanche with an impressive 5-1 win. However, the Oilers 5th and final goal stood out as it was an impressive shorthanded marker by Andrew Cogliano and Liam Reddox that was scored just 30 seconds into the third period. The two were able to break away on a 2-on-1, that ended with the puck in the back of the net.
