Oilers recall Alex Giroux
29-year old Quebec City native has collected 29 goals & 65 points with OKC Barons

Giroux, 29, has 29 goals and 36 assists for 65 points as well as 57 penalty minutes in 61 games this season with the Barons to rank first in team scoring and second in scoring in the entire AHL.
The 6’3”, 203-pound Quebec City native has played 31 games in the NHL with the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers collecting four goals and five assists for nine points and 16 PIM. In 697 career AHL games, Giroux has 637 points (337G, 300A) and 831 penalty minutes.
He was signed as a free agent by Edmonton on July 3, 2010.
