Oilers recall Richard Petiot
Alberta-born blueliner has played 46 games with OKC Barons so far this season

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenseman Richard Petiot from Oklahoma City of the American Hockey League.Petiot, 28, has played in 46 games for the Barons this season recording 12 assists and 34 penalty minutes.
The 6’4”, 210-pound blueliner was signed by the Oilers on July 2, 2010 and has appeared in 13 games in the National Hockey League collecting three assists and 23 penalty minutes.
Petiot, who is from Daysland, Alberta, was originally selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the 4th round, 116th overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
