Teubert, 21, was a 1st round choice, 13th overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. The 6’4”, 195-pound rearguard has spent the season with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League playing in 39 games collecting 10 points (2G,8A) and 57 penalty minutes.
The White Rock, BC native played his junior hockey with the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League appearing in 263 games recording 32 goals and 81 assists for 113 points. He was the captain for Regina in 2010 and named the team’s best defenseman at the end of the season.
Teubert has some international experience suiting up for Team Canada in the 2008 World U18 Championship winning gold as well as taking home gold in the World Junior Championship in 2009 and silver in 2010.
