Oilers recall Gerber
General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Martin Gerber from Oklahoma City of the American Hockey League.

Gerber, 36, has played in 34 games with the Barons this season compiling a 19-12-3 record with four shutouts, a 2.49 GAA and .917 save percentage. He has also played two games with the Oilers when recalled in November going 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .950 save percentage.

The 5’11”, 200-pound Burgdorf, Switzerland native has appeared in 228 NHL games with a 112-78-7-14 record, 2.64 GAA and .910 save percentage. He was signed as a free agent by Edmonton on August 6, 2010.
